Additionally, we have provided several K-8 classroom sound systems (through the Platteville Quota International club), we supported the High School HUNCH program in 2014, and funded some playground equipment for Neil Wilkins School in 2013 and Westview Elementary School in 2016.
Platteville Community Youth Sports

Support for financially needy students to attend summer sports camps held at the University of WI-Platteville

City of Platteville Park and Recreation Department's Start Smart, Youth Soccer, Youth Basketball, and Youth T-Ball programs, and the Platteville Swim Team (in association with the Platteville Family Aquatic Center)

Through the Platteville Baseball Outfield Sign Program, we support local youth who use the baseball fields at Legion Park

Additionally, in 2014-2015 we contributed funds toward the Moving Platteville Outdoors project for paving and lighting the trail that winds through town along the Rountree Branch. In 2016, we also will be contributing funds to the Platteville Library Foundation for items to furnish the Children and Youth areas of the new city library.

In May 2016, we contributed funds to assist the Platteville K-4 students with special needs to have an outing at the Platteville Family Aquatic Center.



2018/2019 F/Y President Becky Schambow welcomed Bob Hochhausen, Shari Engelke and Gene Weber, members of the task force to rebuild the art hall at Legion Field, and presented them with a check from the club for their building fund.
