Beth Flesch Accepts Special Olympics Grant

Beth Flesch, Platteville Special Olympics Financial Manager, accepted a $500 check from the Platteville Optimist Club for the Platteville and surrounding area Special Olympicians. Beth has been involved with the Special Olympics for 22 years and she shared that their athletes are "loving and thriving." Special Olympics offers sports seasons year-round which the athletes train weekly for. They're currently in basketball season, which comes with a lot of transportation expenses, so our donation will be used to help cover the bussing costs.

Special Olympics relies on donations and the generosity of our communities. The Platteville Optimists are proud to support them. Good luck athletes!
