Abby Haas has been in her role as the Executive Director of PAIDC for 2 years. In addition, she is a small business owner of The Body Shoppe (infrared sauna) in Darlington. PAIDC has a long-standing reputation for excellence in our community and industrial development. They work directly with developers to find the perfect parcel for them, while also working with organizations to attract workforce, and ensure adequate housing and childcare within the community. They recently added an integrated mapping took on their website to help people identify available parcels in our community based on needed acreage, utility services, etc. A lot of what Abby works with is business expansion and growing existing businesses, and assisting with finding available loans and grants that align with the needs and mission of the business. PAIDC works with other county and municipality directors and puts the Platteville area on radar when people are trying to find a home for their business.
