Platteville Historic Re-enactment Accepts Optimist Club Support

This year marks the 28th Annual Platteville Historic Re-enactment being held at Mound View Park on September 11-13. Stephanie Saager-Bourret, Chair of the Platteville Historic Re-enactment, shared that the re-enactment started as a Wisconsin Sesquicentennial Project. It's an event where you can experience life as it was during the 1800's as you stroll through the various demonstrations of blacksmiths, woodworkers, military, and colonial men and women. Its' grown into an educational event that an estimated 2000 students plus adults visit each year. The Platteville Optimist Club is proud to support this annual community event.
