Platteville Music Boosters Accept Grant for New Sound System

Platteville Music Boosters officers accepted a $500 grant from the Platteville Optimists. The music boosters recently completed a major fundraising effort to install a new sound system in the Platteville High School Auditorium. The school district covered 50% of the cost. The boosters were awarded grants from the Platteville Optimist Club and the Platteville Community Fund. A matching contribution from Inspiring Community, Inc. and Cindy Tang covered 25% of the cost, while the boosters raised the remaining 25% through generous community support.

The auditorium is used by students of all ages in the district for music programs, school plays, awards banquets, and much more. The sound system was a needed and welcome improvement that is appreciated by all who attend programs in the auditorium. Thank you Platteville Music Boosters!
