Platteville Optimist Club 2025 Appreciation, Installation & Awards Banquet

Our annual banquet was held on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at the Lutheran Church of Peace. President Bob Hundhausen was feeling under the weather and unable to attend so our Vice President Terri Ellis led the proceedings. Thank you, Terri for assuming the role of president a bit early.

Terri began by recognizing the 2024-2025 Board members and thanking Alaina Reeves, Past President, and Mark Essex and Chris Budden, Directors who will be transitioning off the Board.

Howard Crofoot installed the 2025-2026 Board.

Officers are: Past President: Bob Hundhausen, President: Terri Ellis, Vice President: Barb Stockhausen, Treasurer: Duane Borgen, and Secretary: Jerry Schewe.

Directors are: Doreen Hlavaty, Dianne Jentz, Michael Miller, Kevin Bernhardt, Amy Coffey and Robin Fatzinger.

Everyone enjoyed a wonderful social hour and dinner.

Bob had also asked Terri to mention others whose names appeared in recommendations for Awards this year. Dianne Jentz and Chris Budden for all the improvements to our website and making shirt order possible online. We again recognize our Chamber Volunteer of the year, Dianne Jentz.

Thanks to Tim Murphy for all he does for our curd sales to help with preparation and organization of the trailer. Also recognizing all of the work that Alaina Reeves does behind the scenes for our Cheese Curd Sales (in her condition!)
