“Through rain, sleet, or snow the books must go!” What better friend of youth than someone who puts a book in your hand! It is wonderful to see the smiles on the faces of parents and kids when they get a book at Katie’s Halloween or Winter Wonderland! This Optimist is also responsible for the “Storybook Walks”. It is so awesome to see kids in the park going from page to page, reading to their parents, rather than staring at a screen. Thanks to Carley for all her work with these projects through the year!
